TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE Lampworks makes every effort to be accurate. Please review the “Invoice/Acknowledgement” to confirm the details. In the event that you have a concern, contact Lampworks immediately so that we may revise the Invoice prior to production. ALL SALES ARE FINAL No returns, exchanges or cancellations are allowed. All deposits are non-refundable. PAYMENT TERMS A 50% deposit is required to initiate an order. The balance, including shipping, is due upon notification that the order is ready to ship. Merchandise must be paid for within two weeks of notification that it is ready to ship (regardless of whether your project is ready to accept the merchandise.) If not paid on time, after two weeks, interest on the balance will accrue at 1.5% monthly. STORAGE CHARGES Any item left over 30 days is subject to storage charges at $10 per day per carton. Fixtures left over 60 days, without storage arrangements, will be considered abandoned. CHANGES TO ORDERS ALREADY IN PROGRESS Changes to existing orders must be made in writing. Up-charges may apply. FABRICATION SCHEDULE Every item has an approximate lead-time and Lampworks makes every effort to see that each schedule is followed. However, many parts used in custom fabrication are imported or cast to order. Undue delays, including strikes, acts of nature and holiday closings are beyond our control. Please advise if there is a deadline at the time an order is placed. Rush orders may be subject to an up-charge. FINISH SAMPLES Timely approval of finish samples is required in order to fabricate a fixture within schedule. FLOOR SAMPLES AND ANTIQUES All floor samples and antiques are sold “as is” and should be inspected carefully at the time of purchase. Any damage or imperfection that is discovered after receipt of the merchandise is subject to a repair fee. ITEMS TAKEN ON APPROVAL Fixtures loaned on approval must be returned on the date agreed upon, in the original condition. If not returned when due the sale will be considered final. INSURANCE The client is advised to carry a rider on any valuable objects left with us to restore, wire, drill, etc. as we cannot insure valuables that are not our merchandise. DELIVERY All packing, crating, special handling, freight and local delivery charges are payable by the Purchaser. Lampworks is not responsible for damage that may occur while in transit. All claims must be made in writing to Lampworks within 5 business days of receipt of merchandise. Fixtures may not be used or installed and must be packed in the original carton with all original packing materials. DO NOT return to Lampworks. Lampworks will arrange for the original delivery service or carrier to pick up the merchandise so that they can inspect it. Unless these procedures are followed, Lampworks cannot be responsible to replace or repair merchandise. CHARGE BACKS: No labor or material charge backs for the repair or replacement of defective merchandise will be allowed. Lampworks is not responsible for any additional charges incurred to reinstall fixtures that have been replaced or repaired. RETURNED CHECKS Returned checks are subject to a $50 administration fee. SUGGESTED METHOD TO UNPACK LAMPSHADES & FIXTURES Carefully remove packing from top and sides of lampshade prior to removing from carton. Do not lift table lamp by the harp or socket. Chandeliers should be hung in wrapping to prevent arms, crystals and other parts from striking each other which may cause breakage. Crystal, glass and alabaster table and floor lamps are assembled with some play and may appear to be slightly “loose”. Do not over-tighten as this may cause parts to crack.
